BOOKINGS
Early bookings for berths on scheduled cruises should be
accompanied by a deposit of 10% of the ticket price;
early bookings for charters should be accompanied by a
deposit of 20% of the basic daily rate for the period
booked. These are to be made up to 50% not later than 90
days prior to departure date. The balance is to be paid
not later than 15 days prior to departure date.
CANCELLATIONS
Deposits (10% or 20%) are not refundable. Payments or
part payments will be refunded on cancellations between
90 days and 15 days pro rata to the unexpired portion of
that period. No refunds will be payable on cancellations
during the 15 days prior to departure.
AGENTS REMITTANCES
Reservations will be accepted orally from travel Agents
but must be confirmed by remittance of the net amount
(ie. less commission) paid by the client within 14 days.
Cheques should be drawn in favour of "Ron Chester
& Co".

GENERAL CONDITIONS
As cruises operate in remote regions, Opal Shell Yacht
Charters reserve the right to alter itineraries or
schedules as necessitated by prevailing weather or
operating conditions. Opal Shell Yacht Charters do not
accept any liability in contract or in tort for any
injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expense or
inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force
majeure or other events which are beyond our control or
which are not preventable by reasonable diligence on our
part; including but not limited to war, civil
disturbance, fire, floods, unusually severe weather, acts
of God, acts of government or any authorities, accidents
or failure of machinery or equipment or industrial
action.
Clients must bear the cost of any emergency medical or
rescue service summoned at the discretion of the master
of the vessel pursuant to illness or injury of the
client. Travel insurance adequate to the eventuality
should be arranged by the client prior to boarding. |
