Explore two magnificent river gorge systems and the beautiful coast, islands and beaches between. Anchor ten kilometres up the King George River at the base of the sheer 100 meter waterfalls. Walk to the top for fantastic views, picnic and enjoy the rock pool swimming or shower underneath the falls in comfort and safety aboard our sturdy runabouts. The Berkeley River is our best kept secret - 25 kilometres of beautiful river gorge, great bushwalks, swimming holes and waterfalls. This is the ultimate holiday for calm water, peaceful scenic anchorages, great fishing for Barramundi and Mangrove jacks in stunning surroundings, beachcombing, bird watching, discovering ancient art sites and swimming in splendid isolation. Opal Shell anchors within the rivers so that you will become part of this majestic environment with new discoveries every day. With little time spent travelling, you days are free to relax, explore and do as much or as little as you please. Scenic floatplane flights will transfer you between Lake Kununurra and Opal Shell. |
